So apparently today I am all about the men's fashion. First I was ripping on poor (but delish) Will Smith and now I am moving onto Kanye West and his new designing venture. But this is one thing I am very excited about. Mostly because it's always exciting to see how celebrities morph into designers especially ones who claim to love fashion, and Kanye definitely has been showing up at all the major shows lately, like Louis Vuitton, Lanvin and Christian Dior just this week in Paris. We'll have to wait a bit for his designs -- a line of shoes with Louis Vuitton and his own line of womens wear, but until then we can always enjoy his music.

If it's summer then two things must be true -- it's hot outside and Will Smith must have a blockbuster about to explode onto movie screens. Well, it's hitting at least 80 in New York today and Will Smith attended the premiere of his new movie Hancock yesterday in Hollywood. No matter what character Will plays he always manages to have a hit on his hands. He just has that movie-star charisma. But let's talk about his fashion sense, or in this picture lack-thereof. Now Will is a pretty tall guy, just under 6-foot-3. And I have to say, that's a lot of pattern to be throwing up and down the red carpet. Not that I don't appreciate a man who tries, but the outcome shouldn't require Dramamine. Too many checks, stripes, something on that long-and-lean frame and to be honest, it's just hurting my eyes. Maybe black pants or a solid shirt underneath would have off-set the craziness all over, but I have to say, there's no way his buddy Tom Cruise would have left the house in that dizzying get-up. A superhero on-screen, but not on the catwalk...sorry, Will!
