Thirteen. But it was her drastic makeover in the summer of 2011 (not to mention high-profile roles in
True Blood,
Mildred Pierce, and
The Ides of March) that definitively catapulted the actress to
star-style status. Of her
now-famous crop, Wood has said, "I did it just for me. I've been wanting to chop all my hair off for a really long time. It's kind of a risk but once it was gone, it was like, 'Ahh, such a relief.'"
