Who Did It Best

Vanessa vs. Michelle in Alice + Olivia

From , former About.com Guide

Hot trend alert: stars in jumpers! Both Vanessa Minnillo and Michelle Trachtenberg sported this satin-y Alice + Olivia black jumper to different red carpet events. Do we jump for their style or did they fall flat?

She's more known for being Nick Lachey's girlfriend than anything else, but Vanessa Minnillo always looks totally cute. We applaud her choice to try something new and this romper is a good start. But (Yes, there usually is a but)this jumpsuit is not doing anything (ANYTHING!) for Vanessa's usually adorably looking shape. Where is her waist? Where are her boobs? Where is her body? This looks like a garbage bag and we are always a big fan of jumpers! Plus, the jumper looks way too long for the leggy starlet. There is absolutely nothing working here...except maybe Vanessa's loose and wavy locks. We have to give her the hair.

Michelle Trachtenberg looks better, but not great in this Alice + Olivia jumper. We love how she shows off her sexy upper body (hello, clavicle!) by sporting a sassy side-ponytail. And yes, it seems to fit better on her than Vanessa Minnillo on the top half, but the jumper once again seems to lose shape on the lower half. Plus, why is it still too long. Somebody call these girls a tailor! Michelle does win points for thinking outside the box (yet right on trend) by pairing her romper with an oversized hot pink patent leather clutch. This round goes to Michelle.
